Leading our key accounts is no easy task, the role requires an eye for detail, analysis of data, excellent customer services and the ability to spot new opportunities. We are looking for a passionate, hungry and motivated self-starter to build and grow existing accounts and actively seek out new business opportunities. We’re not looking for a body to fill a role, we’re looking for someone with passion and a can-do attitude, relevant experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment and with strong negotiation skills. Self-motivated, proactive, target-driven and the ability to build strong customer relationships in order to grow the business.

Your tasks

  • (Co) Develop, implement and monitor the key account strategy;
  • Attract and drive revenue of new and existing key accounts and partners in European region;
  • Business development through presentations, events and company visits;
  • Customer’s satisfaction management;
  • Identify the needs and wishes of the Key Accounts and convert this into product plans;
  • Develop external relationships at management level;
  • Report the Key Accounts results on a regular basis to the company/MT;
  • Cooperation with the Marketing department to work in line with the company strategy.

Qualifications

To be successful, you meet the following profile: 

  • A Bachelor degree focused on International Business or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development and Key Account Management;
  • Able to gain detailed knowledge of our highly technical products in a short period of time; 
  • Excellent and clear business view;
  • Cultural awareness;
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and relevant business units;
  • High level of communication and negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to travel in- and outside regular office hours;
  • Speaking and writing fluently in English.
